We would also be happy to see this forum used for very short-term contracts or very small jobs, where someone may be happy to pay a few pounds/dollars to have a specific problem resolved for them. In these cases, please post your specific problem, and how much you'd be willing to pay someone to look at it for you. If you are thinking of taking on some paid work for someone on this basis, please agree with them before starting to make sure someone else hasn't already done the work, that you agree on exactly what is to be done, etc.
